Positive Exposure Film Premiere – Recap

A Children’s House for the Soul kicked off the Masterpiece Challenge at last weekend’s Positive Exposure Film Premier

At A Children’s House, we celebrate that everyone was made beautifully and know that everyone was made to stand out. Our event honored this mission. The Masterpiece Challenge and the film premier gave our families a platform to show off their skin conditions and birthmarks–to show off part of what makes them who they are–and reframe the way we see ourselves.

The night at the premier made everyone there feel like the stars that they are. Our kiddos arrived in style to strut their stuff on the orange carpet before seeing their own faces smiling back at them on the big screen. Families found community with each other while getting glammed up with face paint, hair chalk, and temporary tattoos and then came together to share a meal.

The event may be over be over, but the movement is not! Check out our Masterpiece Challenge page to see how you can get involved as one of A Children’s House’s Masterpieces!
