Love The Skin You Are In Conference & Camp Dermadillo Reunion

Our first “Love The Skin You Are In” conference this June was such a success that we are doing another one!

It will be held on Saturday, November 19th from 10am-4pm at Safari Texas Ranch- 11627 FM 1464, Richmond TX 77407. Event registration is on our website at www.achildrenshouse.org. It should be a really great day! We have Kurt Podeszwa who is Director of Camp For All as our guest speaker. His keynote talk will be Family Communication: Expressing Needs (and Wants) Appropriately and Effectively. The parent breakout session will be Blackhawk Parenting: How To Be A Protective Parent and Give Independence. The youth breakout session will be True Courage: The Culture of Bullying. There are going to be tons of fun outdoor activities including carnival games, miniature golf, paddle boat rides, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and badminton. There is a nominal fee for this conference of $10/adult and $5/child that includes lunch, concession snacks and all activities. We have scholarships available to cover this cost if needed.

We are following the conference with a Camp Dermadillo reunion for our previous campers, as well as their families, and staff. It will be at the same venue from 5-8pm with appetizers and lots of fun activities including dancing, photo booth, face painting, magic show, balloon art, games, as well as catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. There is no cost to attend the reunion.

The invitations for both events are attached. We hope to see you there!
