To build our dream place of refuge, we need to raise $825,000!
Here are just a few of the features of the home we envision
-
A Special Salon
A hair bar where children with hair loss can try new styles or wigs. A makeup area to explore camouflaging techniques. An area to learn wet wraps and acne treatments.
-
Kitchen and Meal Area
We envision a kitchen where our children can learn and share over preparations. And families can come together over a meal.
-
A Play Area for Kids
This space can be used to entertain kids while parents come together to discuss challenges. It can also be used for therapeutic play.
-
A Custom Library
This area will include books and resources for all ages. It will also include a sitting space for meditation, mentoring, and journaling.
-
Games Center and Movie Theater
Our space will bring our kids together in fun and community. We'll have lots of opportunities for play and friendship where kids can work through any struggles.
-
And so much more!!
We have big dreams and visions for our new home! We'll be working with our families, our staff, therapists, and more come up with so many amazing uses and features!
Our approach
